It’s Time to Make That Change!

You may call me psychic because I know that there is something in your life that you want to change. There is something about your current position in the scheme of the universe that you wish was different. Maybe it’s your health. Or, how about your fitness? Could it be your job? If not, what is one thing that nags at you each day that you secretly complain about to yourself?

While I do consider myself a good “witch” of sorts, I know this truth about you because growth is at the core of the human spirit. Whether you know it or not, you yearn for personal growth. It is part of the human experience and we all experience this.

A few years ago I was unaware of my spirit’s need for growth…and oh boy was I a mess. I had been making decisions in my life that limited my personal growth. Because of this, my inner life was really unhappy. I was stuck! Have you ever felt really stuck? I would wake up every morning and feel bad about myself for several reasons. I believed this was simply a fact of life.

Thankfully I got so unhappy that I was forced to make some changes. I started taking action to go after the changes that I wanted to see in my life. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Right now, in a quiet and private moment, whisper to yourself and fill in the blank:

“I am unhappy about _______________.

I know that I am capable of doing better.”

My message to you today is about change. In this season of change, I want you to identify what needs to change in your own life. How do you want to be? How do you want to live? You are the master of your life, and you have the ability to create a life that is better than what you’re living right now. Even if your life is perfectly amazing I know that it can be even better.

So go after it!

Here’s something fun to keep in mind as you are going after your goals:

Change is hard.

Wanting to avoid change is sooooo human. In fact, it is a core function of your operating system put in place to ensure that you survive. Humans have been around for over 3 million years. That didn’t happen by mistake! We have very sophisticated systems deeply ingrained in our circuitry that causes us to behave in ways that keep our species evolving. Making any kind of change in your life is hard, and once you accept that, things get a whole lot easier. All it takes to make big changes in your life is a shift in your mentality. In order to grow and progress as a human-individual, you have to be open to change.

Holly, you nailed it! I am so excited and empowered by your message today. Easy to identify the 1 thing that nags me every day (every hour), but harder to identify 3 things I like about myself………You have given me some powerful homework. Thanks.

Thank you Holy for a very positive and inspiring message. Five years ago I stopped doing regular strength training and running, in a result my pain increased in hip (I have osteoarthritis because of congenital hip dysplasia) I already read your wonderful book and doing exercises from it. Your message motivated me even more to keep exercising for life – I just don’t want to have hip replacement surgery – strength training keeps my weight and pain away. Thanks.
